Hi everyone! It’s been an F*%&ing great weekend here in Los Angeles. Lakers won the championship (go Fisher!!) and the 3rd annual 2009 SpoCom show was a blast. The Sport Compact Show is an industry show some what similar to a mini SEMA. A large number of manufacturers and disruptors of aftermarket auto parts showed and opened the doors to the public. As I walked through the Long Beach Convention Center looking at all the hot rides and all the other enthusiasts checking out the hot rides I felt very nostalgic. With such a huge turn out of vendors and exhibitors all interacting, this just shows that the market of hardcore customization is not going any where.

Falken, AEM, HKS, Eibach, Sparco, Skunk2 and many other manufacturers kept me very busy running around under the air conditioned roof. There were so many things to do, where do I begin. My ghetto ass even entered in the raffle for motor oil. The main attraction was the bikini contest of course, hosted by Alexia Lei. And yes I screamed “Take It Off !!!” With all the hot models, the bikini contest did not disappoint. So many guys were drooling puddles started to form at the convention center floor. One model even busted nunchucks on stage which I thought was fresh and different. After the bikini contest there was a dance show not to mention a fashion show featuring. Sick rides, beautiful ladies what more could you ask for? The only thing I was disappointed by was the car in the corner that had a crack in their body kit. We won’t mention any names here to save you the embarrassment but step it up people.
