| Las Vegas SEMA auto show 2008 Posted by Koneko Kumamoto Nov 20 th, 2008 |
| Hello everyone, I have finally recovered from 2008 Sema Show. The super duper uber nice owners of Dash Z Racing sent me to the 2008 Sema Show in Las Vegas, Nevada to cover the event. The show started on November 4th and ended on November 7th. After getting my media pass for the show I walked into Central Hall and bam I was like a little kid in a candy store. Honda, Nissan, Subaru, and Mitsubishi oh I was totally in heaven. Being at the show everyday from start to finish there was one car that caught my eye. I feel this might be a new trend in the future. I call it my British-Japanese fusion masterpiece. My friends at ASI (Accuracy, Spirit, Imagination) did an enormous job on the TETSU GTR. The TETSU GTR is a full custom complete car program for the Bentley Continental GT, limited to 29 vehicles worldwide. This cartoon like vehicle contains many dry carbon parts, a damn big booty wide body exterior and kicks 800 ponies. Do you want to hear more? Not only is it a beast, all the exotic Japanese artwork is hand painted by Tetsuei Nakamura. ASI, if you are read this please send me my TETSU GTR, pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! For all my fans, if you guys didn’t get a chance to check out Sema this year, don’t forget to make plans for next year. Believe me when I say you do not want to miss this show. Stay tuned next month for my coverage of the new Nissan 370Z. The new Z will reverse the recent automotive trend of bloated model redesigns by featuring a reduced wheelbase and more light weight body pieces.
